Ian Daly

Ian joined Cardinal Capital in 2016 and is a key member of the investment team for a number of high profile Cardinal investments. Ianled Cardinal investments and exits in McCauley’s Pharmacy and The City Bin Co. He is currently a board member of the holding companies of Luzern Technology Solutions and Ashdale Care Ireland.

Holding a first class honours degree in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Business Administration from London Business School, Ian formerly led the Corporate Development and Strategic Analytics team at Paddy Power PLC. He was also a director in the Technology Investment Banking teams at Lehman Brothers, Nomura and Credit Suisse in London and managed a range of M&A, equity and debt financing transactions.

Ian’s early career included a number of operational and commercial roles in the software and telecommunications sectors, providing first hand experience in helping companies achieve their growth ambitions.
