Mike Maloney

Holding an honours degree in Economics from University College Galway, Mike is a former CEO and Chairman of Payzone where he worked closely with the Cardinal team during the period of CCI ownership. He is also the Chairman of Centric Health.

Mike served as a commissioned officer with the Irish Defence Forces from 1980 to 1989 and joined the Cardinal Private Equity team in 2020. Mike is currently a board member of the holding companies of Mowlam Healthcare and Uform and the Chairman of Sim Local.

Mike was formerly COO of BT Ireland from 2004 to 2008. He has held senior executive roles as EMEA Operations Director, EMEA Marketing Director and EMEA VP Consumer BU with Gateway Computers and started his career in technology working for the Networking division of Digital Equipment Corporation from 1989 to 1993.
