Paul Corry

Since joining Cardinal in 2015, Paul has overseen the successful rollout of Cardinal’s two Real Estate Finance funds which have committed in excess of €750m directly to the market. He is responsible for developing business with highly experienced investors and developers in the Irish market, overseeing the credit underwriting process and, once facilities are drawn down, the management of the loans until they are ultimately repaid. He also oversees regular reporting to investors during the life of the various funds.

Paul has worked on a variety of investment and development deals during his time at Cardinal, including residential (housing, apartments, PRS/BTR sector, social, student accommodation), offices, shopping centres, retail parks, hotels and industrial. He is well placed to understand the complexities of potential transactions and provide informed feedback to clients on a variety of deal proposals.

Prior to joining Cardinal, Paul acted for ownership as Head of Property in a life assurance company and as a senior lender at an Irish bank with responsibility for managing its international property backed loan portfolio.
