As Cardinal’s Director of Finance and Operations, Salmaan plays a strategic role across the firm’s Real Estate Finance and Private Equity platforms, with responsibility for driving financial oversight, operational efficiency, and execution excellence.

Bringing a strong background in financial services, with deep expertise in both wealth and asset management, Salmaan has been instrumental in strengthening the operational and financial foundations of Cardinal’s investment vehicles since joining in June 2021. His contributions span across fund structuring, financial and operational governance, investor reporting, and supporting transaction execution.

Salmaan holds postgraduate qualifications from the University of the Western Cape and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
